OnePlus 7 Pro: Bluetooth - how it works

Bluetooth is a technology integrated in the OnePlus 7 Pro, which makes it possible for you to connect other devices wirelessly with your smartphone. In doing so, you can use Bluetooth to pair not only mobile devices, but also headphones, speakers or a keyboard with the smartphone.

How to enable the Bluetooth feature on the OnePlus 7 Pro

The built-in Bluetooth feature of the OnePlus 7 Pro not only allows you to connect other Bluetooth-enabled devices such as headphones or speakers to the OnePlus 7 Pro, but also to exchange data with smartphones or tablets.

1. To enable the Bluetooth feature, please open the Settings app. In it, go to "Bluetooth & Device Connections" and tap "Bluetooth".
2. After activating the Bluetooth, you will be shown a list of all nearby Bluetooth devices and you can pair them with the OnePlus 7 Pro by tapping on the corresponding name.
3. When you connect a device to your smartphone for the first time, you need to type the pairing code displayed or confirm the pairing request to establish the connection.
4. To pair already known devices with the OnePlus 7 Pro, simply tap "Reconnect".

OnePlus 7 Pro: How to use Bluetooth tethering

In addition to being able to connect other devices to the OnePlus 7 Pro via Bluetooth, you can also use the function to share the smartphone's Internet connection with other devices. To use this so-called Bluetooth tethering to share your mobile data or Wi-Fi connection, please open the settings and navigate to "Wi-Fi & Connections" > "Mobile Hotspot & Tethering" and select the "Bluetooth Tethering" option.
