Amazon: Prime trial month cancellation made easy

If you want to cancel Amazon's trial offer and your Amazon Prime trial month, there are a few details to keep in mind. If you do not cancel, the trial subscription is namely converted into a paid Prime subscription.

How to cancel your Amazon Prime trial month

To prevent your Amazon Prime trial month from unintentionally turning into a normal and paid Prime subscription, it's important to manage your Amazon account properly:

1. Log in with your customer data at Amazon.de.
2. Now point your mouse to "Account and Lists" on the top right.
3. Now go to "My Prime Membership".
4. Now you can also see if your trial month is still running. You can see this in the menu on the left side of the screen by the date on which your next payment is due.
5. If you are still within the trial month, simply click "Cancel Membership".
6. You can cancel this at any time within the trial month. You can still use the Amazon Prime services for the full 30 days.
7. If you are already in the paid subscription after the 30 days, go to "Manage your Prime membership" at the top right and select "Cancel membership - Waive benefits".
8. Then follow the instructions to cancel.
