If only individual programs run on only one core, open the Task Manager.

1. Under "Details", right-click on an application that runs on only one core.
2. In the context menu, click "Specify membership".
3. In the small menu window that now opens, all checkmarks should be set. If necessary, activate the options manually.

If you have recently made changes in the BIOS, you should undo them if they affect the processor. Also check that you have installed the latest drivers for your motherboard.
