Red Dead Redemption 2: System Requirements for PC

Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally coming out for PC, and as early as early November 2019. But is your PC even fit for the epic western adventure? Our guide shows the official system requirements.

It could be worse: Red Dead Redemption 2's system requirements are fair.

If fans have their way, Red Dead Redemption 2 is worth buying just for the view across the vast landscapes of the USA. PC gamers will need capable hardware for it, however.

Red Dead Redemption 2: Moderate system requirements

As a minimum, this data is assumed:
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 770 / AMD Radeon R9 280
  • Working memory: 8 GB
The following hardware is recommended:
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 480
  • Working memory: 12 GB RAM
Considering the optical splendor of Red Dead Redemption 2, these specifications almost seem tame. However, that does not apply to the hard drive: 150 GB accrue, preferably on an SSD.Apart from that, the specifications are aimed at a smooth game with 1080p resolution. For WQHD (1440p) and even more so for 4K, more power should be available, especially for the graphics card, at least the category GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 should be necessary - even more if it should be high settings.
