Power, Tech, Smart: There are three weapon types in Cyberpunk 2077.

This subdivision primarily concerns the firearms, as the tech features there provide for significant differences.

Because in addition to the usual divisions into categories such as pistols, machine guns, shotguns and sniper rifles, there is another subdivision. This one concerns the weapon type:

• If it is a power weapon, the projectiles can bounce off surfaces like walls. This is handy, for example, when the opponent is hiding behind a corner.
• With tech weapons, you can fire charged shots. These are capable of breaking through obstacles such as cover or heavy armor.
