2. If you want to completely destroy the data on a hard drive, but you can no longer access it by simple means, then your only option is to destroy the hardware. A hard drive consists of several discs, one above the other, which you must destroy.
3. To destroy these discs completely, you need strong heat, a strong magnet or brute force. You can use a welding torch or a strong neodymium magnet for this.
