My Time at Portia: Finding hardwood - how to get it

You can collect wood in My Time at Portia from the beginning, but hardwood is a bit different. Our guide explains how to find hardwood and what options are available.

Hard, harder, hardwood: In My Time at Portia you have several options.

Hardwood is needed for many constructions. You will notice this quite early in the course of the main missions.

My Time at Portia: Find hardwood or make it yourself

To get hardwood, you have several options:

• You get hardwood by cutting down large trees. However, this is not possible with the first axe - you need the first upgrade in the form of the Bronze Axe.
• You make this with the Simple Axe, three bronze ingots and an enhancement set.
• Optionally, you can also make hardwood yourself at the workbench. This is done with normal wood: three units make one hardwood.

The further processing of hardwood is done at the Simple Cutter, with which you can make hardwood planks.
