  • Power+Home – sono tantissimi i terminali Android su cui è possibile catturare l’immagine dello schermo premendo contemporaneamente il pulsante Power, cioè quello di accensione e spegnimento, e quello Home, che è il pulsante centrale che si trova sotto lo schermo del device. Capirai che il procedimento è andato a buon fine dopo aver visto il lampeggiamento dello schermo e aver sentito un suono simile al flash delle vecchie macchine fotografiche;
  • Power+Volume giù – molti dei cellulari e tablet della Samsung usciti negli ultimi anni spesso non portano più il tasto fisico della Home. Come fare lo screenshot allora? In questi casi puoi catturare lo schermo premendo, sempre in contemporanea, i tasti Power e Volume giù (il pulsante che si usa per abbassare il volume, posto solitamente sulla sinistra). Anche qui vedrai lo schermo fare un flash e sentirai il suono della vecchia macchina fotografica che scatta. Se vuoi fare uno screenshot con un cellulare Samsung S8 questa è proprio la combinazione giusta di tasti da usare;
  • Bixby – gli smartphone Samsung di ultima tecnologia mettono a disposizione dei propri utenti l’assistente virtuale Bixby, un’evoluzione del più comune S Voice installata nei precedenti device targati Samsung. Con Bixby puoi catturare lo schermo del telefono attraverso il comando vocale. Basta attivare l’assistente premendo il tasto posizionato sulla sinistra sotto il volume e pronunciare il messaggio vocale Scatta uno screenshot;
  • Google Assistant – oltre a Bixby puoi servirti dell’assistente Google fare gli screenshot sul tuo smartphone. This process is also very simple: access the screen you want to take a picture of, hold down the Home button and say the voice command Ok Google followed by Take a screenshot.

All screenshots that you capture with your Samsung will be grouped in the Screenshots folder of your phone or tablet. To view them then you should go to the Gallery application where you will find all the folders containing the photos of your smartphone. On some Android devices, in Advanced Features, you can also turn on Smart Capture which allows you, after capturing the screenshot, to immediately access the screen to make various changes or share it immediately.

Android Shortcuts

As you know Android is an operating system that lends itself to many customizations and many manufacturers like to add new features, special apps and distinctive looks to this system. Among the functions that have been customized over the years by the manufacturers of Samsung phones and tablets there is also the one concerning screenshots. Samsung's latest devices include a function that allows you to take a screenshot of the screen using a special movement with your hand. Basically, just rest the side of your hand on the phone screen and swipe it from right to left (or the other way around), the screenshot will be captured automatically. But how to take a screenshot on your Samsung phone using this shortcut?

If the version of your Samsung phone allows you to do so, you'll have to activate the Palm Swipe function by accessing Android Settings (the gear icon) from the Main Menu. Go to Advanced Functions, Movements and Controls or Controls and you'll find the Movements and Gestures item that allows you to manage all those functions related to gestures: among the various items you'll find the Acquire with Palm Swipe or Palm Move function. After activating the function by dragging the lever on the right to ON, you're done, just drag the edge of your hand over half of the screen while maintaining contact with it to capture the screen.
