IPhone 11, problems with the screen: it turns green

A strange bug has been afflicting the screen of some Apple smartphones for a few weeks: iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max and even iPhone X. What is it all about? After unlocking the device, the screen turns green for a few seconds and then goes back to normal colors. The first reports were published on Reddit, a social site widely used by the geek community, and then MacRumors colleagues also wrote about it, who collected more user testimonials.

At the moment, the causes of this problem are unknown, but it seems that it was born after the devices were updated to iOS 13.4.1 and continued with iOS 13.5 and iOS 13.5.1 as well. Moreover, the bug is affecting devices with different screens (iPhone 11 has an LCD display, while the other models have an OLED panel), a signal that the problem is not at the component level.
