I rumors arrivano dall’analista Ming-Chi Kuo, solitamente sempre ben informato su quello che accade nelle segrete stanze di Cupertino. I pannelli OLED dell’iPhone 8 sarebbero flessibili, rendendo impossibile l’integrazione dei “vecchi” sensori del Touch 3D. Apple, dunque, sarebbe stata forzata a riprogettare da capo l’intero sistema e ne avrebbe approfittato per aggiungere nuove funzionalità. Il Touch 3d dell’iPhone 8 sarà maggiormente sensibile e avrà un numero superiore di livelli di pressione: ciò vuol dire che le app sviluppate per il prossimo melafonino potranno fornire molteplici funzionalità a seconda dell’intensità del tocco dell’utente sullo schermo.

A balzare immediatamente all’occhio è il telaio realizzato in lega d’acciaio anziché in alluminio e la doppia fotocamera posteriore posta in verticale anziché orizzontale. Non mancano poi i bordi arrotondati dello schermo, il sensore per la scansione delle impronte digitali integrato nel display e la ricarica wireless.
