The problems for Apple users continue. After the bug in the iOS 10.2 update that causes sudden shutdowns and battery malfunctions on iPhones, another message arrives that makes the smartphones produced by the Californian company go haywire.
A scene already seen last year when it was enough to receive a text message with a particular string of characters in Arabic to have the phone unusable. So, this is not the first time that Apple users are facing such problems. At the beginning of 2016, for example, iPhones were affected by a malicious link circulated on Safari that once opened made Apple smartphones restart several times. Last month, a video crashed iPhones and iPads.
The message that crashed iOS 10.2
Apple had tried to fix these errors by updating iOS several times. Evidently, it was not enough as the new case shows. The malicious code contained in an attachment makes Apple's Messages app unusable and affects all versions ranging from iOS 8 to the latest iOS 10.2.1 release. The functioning of the message is practically identical to last year's. Once you open the text in fact the code crashes the application. Problem that occurs even if you try to close Messages and turn the smartphone back on. And apparently there is no way to solve the block even if you do a hard reset of the iPhone. So be careful what you open and above all avoid spreading the message, not even as a joke.
