A new render shows what the iPhone SE2 could look like, Apple's new entry-level smartphone that could arrive during the summer
The iPhone SE 2 could arrive on the market soon. There's no official word from Apple, but renders have popped up online in recent days that show what the Cupertino-based company's low-cost smartphone could look like. With the release of the iPhone XR, Apple has removed the iPhone SE from its store and many speculated that the Cupertino company had decided not to launch a successor. However, this will not be the case.
The iPhone SE 2 will be very different from the first model. The only similar feature will be the small size of the smartphone: the screen should be 4.7 inches, but the bezels will be reduced so that you can use the device with one hand. From the images published online we can guess that the iPhone SE 2 will have a design very similar to that of the iPhone Xs, with the notch on the front where the FaceID sensors will be inserted. In order to keep costs down, it will lack some premium features like dual rear cameras, 3D Touch and TrueTone Display. The iPhone SE 2 could be launched during the summer at WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), the event that Apple organizes every year for developers.

Manageability. This is the watchword that Apple designers are following in the development of the iPhone SE 2. The new range of Apple smartphones (iPhone Xr, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max) is characterized by screens that are quite large and make it difficult to use the device with one hand. It will be the compactness that will distinguish the iPhone SE 2 from all other devices from the Cupertino company.
The design of the smartphone should be the same as the one used by Apple for the iPhone X and iPhone Xs Max: in the front there will be a notch that will contain the sensors for the camera, while the back will be made of glass. Apple's budget smartphone will also have good technical features that will allow you to use all the most important applications. The screen will be 4.7 inches with an aspect ratio of 18:9. In the back there will be room for a single 12-megapixel camera. Some features present on the other devices will be missing: there will be no 3D Touch and not even TrueTone Display.
When will the iPhone SE2 be released
From Apple still there are no confirmations on the release of the iPhone SE 2. For the Cupertino company, the iPhone Xr was supposed to take the reins of the iPhone SE, but sales so far have been below expectations, as confirmed by the company's CEO Tim Cook himself. The iPhone SE2 could be presented during WWDC 2019, the event for developers that Apple organizes every year and where it presents some of its new devices. In a few weeks we will surely know more.
