The smartphone will have the Snapdragon 845, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will arrive in the summer and could replace the LG G7
The LG G7 may never see the light of day. The South Korean company had already announced that it would no longer follow the annual trend of presenting various devices: the development of new features takes an increasing amount of time that does not allow to present revolutionary devices each time.
A further confirmation comes from the latest rumors about the next LG top of the range, which should make its debut during the summer of 2018 (most likely at the IFA in Berlin - an event dedicated to technology - as already happened last year). And to be presented should be the LG V40, the new version of the smartphone released last year and that had well impressed for features and functionality. On the smartphone should debut the fingerprint reader under the screen and an artificial intelligence system that controls the camera and improve the shots.
The choice made by LG could also be followed by other companies, which by now can no longer support an evolution of devices so fast. Also because there is a risk of producing new smartphones with identical characteristics to those launched in previous months. Something that could happen with the first top of the range ready to debut in 2018.
How will LG V40
The first characteristics of the LG V40 are also starting to leak. The smartphone will be a top of the line and for this reason it will mount the Snapdragon 845, the chipset from Qualcomm that we will see for the first time on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and perhaps on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s. In support we will find 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage in the normal version, while in the Plus model there will be 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Great importance will be given to the photographic compartment: in the rear will find place a dual 16-megapixel sensor with a focal aperture of 1.6. The front camera will be 8 Megapixels. To improve the quality of the shots will be present the new artificial intelligence system that LG is ready already present the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, which will automatically recognize the subjects of the photo and suggest the best shooting mode. Another novelty will concern the unlocking systems of the smartphone. There should be a fingerprint reader embedded in the screen and face recognition with 3D face scanning. 3200mAh battery and dual SIM support.

The smartphone is expected to debut in the summer. It will most likely launch in Q3 2018, coinciding with the release of the new iPhone X.
