In recent hours to these rumors has been added a possible novelty: the Mi Band 5 version could make itself in three. In addition to the basic and Lite version, even the Pro version could be released in Europe.
Mi Band 5 Pro: news arrives
According to the latest rumors, Xiaomi is going to release three different models of the Mi Band 5 smartband. The one that intrigues the most is the professional model called precisely Mi Band 5 Pro. Last week, Xiaomi presented to the Chinese market the updated version of the famous smartband, confirming some features for the Chinese market: from the mega display to the function that suggests training methods according to the discipline, up to the presence of the integrated saturation meter.
However, the most attentive people did not stop at the official presentations but tried to understand if there are news that the company would not have revealed yet. For example, the arrival in the future of a Pro version, to complement the basic one and the Lite.
Mi Band 5 Pro: clues in the Mi Fit and Mi Wear codes
The rumor comes from an analysis carried out on two applications, Mi Wear and Mi Fit. Looking at the code strings of Mi Wear some developers have noticed the presence of three devices: Konming Pro, Konming L and Konming Lite. Konming is precisely the codename of Mi Band 5 in the language of developers and industry leakers.
The confirmation also came by looking at some screenshots that show the screen of the functions of the app Mi Fit. In the screen that corresponds to the Pro version we also find the indication to make transactions with the device, that is, the presence of the famous NFC technology.
The news has already intrigued fans who have made assumptions about specifications and design. Many have talked about a full screen display for the Pro model, while for the Lite one, the absence of NFC and microphone has been assumed. Despite this, neither the presence of Mi Band 5 Lite nor Pro has been validated by the Chinese company and nothing excludes that it is a hoax spread to create even more anticipation.
Another thesis is that in Italy the device will be called Mi Band 5 Pro and will have NFC technology than the basic version. So it will come out in two variants and not three as speculated. In short, fans are still swimming in the dark. All that remains is to wait for the official presentation of the product for European markets, which should take place this month.
