Most powerful Android smartphones, ranking dominated by China

Published the ranking of the most powerful Android smartphones: in first position is the Vivo Nex 3 5G, followed by another smartphone from the Chinese company

As happens every month, also for September AnTuTu announced the most powerful Android smartphones on the market. For those who don't know, AnTuTu is an application that allows you to benchmark your device to evaluate its power and performance. Each benchmark is assigned a score that takes into account various factors. The average of the scores obtained by the same model is taken as a reference for the monthly ranking.

In September 2019, compared to August, there was a big shake-up. The first positions were conquered by Chinese smartphones produced by Vivo, a company still not very present in Italy, but which is working to land with some devices in the coming months. In most cases, the devices present in the top 10 most powerful Android smartphones of September 2019 are based on a hardware architecture composed of the Snapdragon 855 or the Snapdragon 855+, the new version of the processor that arrived on the market at the beginning of the summer.

Most powerful Android smartphones in September 2019: the ranking

Vivo is the big surprise of the September 2019 ranking. The Chinese company launched on the market two new top-of-the-line smartphones that have taken the first two positions in the AnTuTu ranking. In first place we find the Vivo Nex 3 5G, in the Snapdragon 855+ version, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which scored 483,427. A little further behind is the Vivo iQoo Pro 5G (Snapdragon 855+ configuration, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage) with a score of 481,121. In third position we find the best smartphone of August, the Asus Rog 2, which scored 473,917.

Fourth place for the Black Shark 2 Pro, smartphone dedicated to gaming that mounts the Snapdragon 855+ with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of memory and scored 464,953 points, Fifth position occupied again by Xiaomi with the Mi 9 Pro 5G (464,807 points), while in sixth we find the Meizu 16s Pro (460,076 points). To the prerogative of China also the seventh place, with the Redmi K20 Pro, top of the range smartphone produced by a subsidiary company of Xiaomi (456,237 points).

In eighth place we find the first and only Samsung smartphone: the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G (449,269 points), followed in ninth position by the OnePlus 7 Pro (448,488 points). Finally, in tenth place is the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, the new smartphone from the Chinese company that mounts the Kirin 990 processor.
