Motorola relaunches the RAZR brand for its first foldable smartphone: here are the technical specifications, price and release date
Will foldable smartphones be the next battleground between the big manufacturers? But the technical problems of the Mate X and Galaxy Fold have forced the two companies to delay the release of their foldable smartphones.
The problems, however, have not stopped other companies to continue to design new foldable smartphones. At the forefront is Motorola, ready to relaunch the historic RAZR brand for its first flexible smartphone. The peculiarity of the model of the U.S. company is that it is a mid-range device and not a top of the range. The latest previews relaunched by the online magazine Let's Go Digital reveal a possible official release date, as well as the price.

Despite the release of top-of-the-line foldable smartphones is delayed, Motorola leaks the possible launch of a mid-range foldable smartphone. The new Motorola RAZR could debut on the US market by the end of the year (in December to coincide with the Christmas season) and then arrive in Europe soon after in January. The price? Even though we're still talking about a midrange smartphone, the price seems quite high: $1,500 in the US and €1,500 in Europe. However, less than that asked for the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X, foldable phones top of the range that, when they go on sale, will certainly exceed 2,000 euros.
