Nokia 8.1 official: how the Finnish mid-range will look like

Despite still being a few days away from the official launch, the Nokia 8.1 has appeared again in promotional videos, showing every single aspect of the design

There were those who expected the launch of the Nokia 9 PureView before the end of 2018 and, at least for now, they have to put aside their expectations. In the handful of useful days left until the end of the year, in fact, it is unlikely that the Finnish company will be able to unveil its smartphone with the five rear cameras. Much more likely, however, that before December 31 will be removed the veil from another device weblog Nokia.

According to the usual rumors coming from overseas, the path of development and certification of Nokia 8.1 is now completed and the new mid-range Android should arrive on the market before the holiday season. In short, if you're looking for a gift idea for Christmas, Nokia provides it right on a silver platter. The device, to tell the truth, doesn't have the revolutionary features that the Nokia 9 would have had, but it's still a solid phone, with a more than acceptable technical sheet and photographic compartment. It remains only to be seen the price of the Nokia 8.1: if the quality / price ratio will be good, the Finnish manufacturer could nibble another slice in the global smartphone market.

How will the Nokia 8.1

Although still missing a few days to the official launch, the new Nokia smartphone we know almost everything, both on the side of the technical card both on that of the design. On the latter front, the novelties are not very many: the appearance will be very similar to the top of the range of this second part of 2018, with notch quite pronounced in the front and large screen with bezels reduced to the bare minimum. On the back, however, find space for the two cameras, a choice introduced by Nokia for more than a year now.

The technical card of the Nokia 8.1, however, is quite interesting. The SoC Snapdragon 710 is joined by a combination of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage space or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space. As for the photographic compartment we find a system consisting of a 12-megapixel main sensor and a 3-megapixel secondary sensor at the back and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
