Nokia 9 PureView: official features and release date

The Nokia 9 PureView will be launched in January and will have a photo system composed of five lenses made by Carl Zeiss. On board the Snapdragon 845

There is very little left to finally see the Nokia 9 PureView (this should be the official name), the top of the range of the Finnish company of which we have been talking about for almost a year now. Between rumors, previews and images posted on social networks, the Nokia 9 has very few secrets. And now we also have a presentation date: the smartphone will make its debut in January 2019.

Nokia seems not to want to wait for the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona and wants to anticipate the competition by presenting its top-of-the-line smartphone already at the beginning of January. A very interesting choice, but quite logical: the Nokia 9 was supposed to be launched already during 2018 and for various reasons the presentation was always postponed. The time now seems to be ripe: Nokia is ready to start 2019 with a top smartphone that can fight on equal terms with the Galaxy S10 and the Huawei P30 Pro. And to be on the same level as its competitors, the Nokia 9 PureView will mount in the back a system with five cameras that ensures images of the highest level.

How will the Nokia 9 PureView

According to the latest rumors, the smartphone will have a technical card from the top of the range. On board we will find the Snapdragon 845 chipset supported by 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The screen will be 5.9 inches with QuadHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The design of the Nokia 9 PureView will be very different from all other devices released in recent months: there will be no notch and the bezels are quite evident. A design very similar to the smartphones that came out during 2017 and this could be a point against the device. The battery will be 4150mAh.

The photo compartment of the Nokia 9 PureView

The strong point of Nokia's top-of-the-line smartphone will definitely be the photo compartment. By now there are no more doubts that the Nokia 9 PureView will have a full five rear cameras made by Carl Zeiss. In addition to the lenses there will also be room for Led flash and laser autofocus. There will be no shortage of special features such as Refocus, Retake and Dual Camera Zoom. Artificial intelligence will also play its part thanks to the technology Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine present within the Qualcomm processor.

When will the Nokia 9 PureView be released

According to the latest rumors, Nokia is ready to launch the Nokia 9 PureView as early as January, but we still don't know the markets on which it will make its debut. Probably for the landing in Europe will have to wait for the month of February. For the price of the Nokia 9 still there is no reliable information.
