Nubia is ready to launch the Red Magic 5S, a top-of-the-line gaming smartphone featuring the Snapdragon 865 processor on board with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage
A new low-cost gaming smartphone is coming to the market from July 28. After rumors circulated, Nubia has confirmed the launch of the Red Magic 5S, equipped with a Snapdragon 865 processor, just like gaming smartphone rivals Lenovo Legion, Asus ROG Phone 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
Red Magic 5S looks like the successor to Red Magic 5G, Nubia's gaming smartphone with 5G connectivity launched last March. The new model will basically be an upgrade of the Nubia smartphone launched just a few months ago, with a revamped and more powerful chipset, but with improvements to the display and back buttons as well. All features that promise a truly exceptional gaming experience for gamers. In addition, the smartphone comes with a renewed and efficient cooling system.
Red Magic 5S, the features
Nubia's new gaming smartphone will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor and the chipset can reach speeds of up to 3.09 GHz. The refresh rate is expected to be 144 Hz, while the sampling rate of the touch sensor, both the screen and the dorsal touch trigger buttons, will be 240 Hz and 320 Hz respectively, which are basic features to get the best precision of commands when gaming.
The RAM will be at least 12GB with 128GB of internal storage. Only rumors for the screen, waiting for the official launch, which could recall the features of the previous model: a 6.65-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The operating system could be Android, while for the camera compartment we expect a triple rear with 64-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle and 2-megapixel depth of field sensor.
On the front would be an 8-megapixel camera. The battery is expected to be 4500 mAh with support for 55 W fast charging. Excellent also the cooling system, necessary to disperse the heat: it would be an advanced system based on silver, which offers maximum thermal conductivity.
