Chinese company launches the Nubia Z17 on the market, no Quick Charge 4.0 but a great camera and lots of top-of-the-line features
Nubia Z17 is now official. We're talking, without much ado, about one of the best Chinese smartphones ever. The Nubia Z17 is also one of the very first phones to have an impressive 8GB of RAM. But the top-of-the-line features are many.
To succeed in conquering the Italian and European markets, Nubia has thought of sparing no expense. Starting with a 5.5-inch screen that has no bezels on the sides. The design is very reminiscent of the Nubia Z11, with rounded edges and a steel back. The Chinese company has also equipped the Nubia Z17 with a dual rear camera that will go a long way in improving the quality of shots. As was the case with last year's model, the Nubia Z17 will also present an excellent value for money, although for the top of the range the cost is expected to exceed 500 euros.
Technical specifications Nubia Z17
On board we find some respectable technical features. As for example the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset supported by 8GB of RAM. It will be 128 gigabytes of internal memory instead. However, there are other models with different options. Such as for example the version with 6GB of RAM plus 64GB or 128GB of storage. It must be said then that Nubia uses on this model the super fast UFS 2.1 standard for internal storage. This means maximum fluidity of games and apps. As for the screen, it is a 5.5-inch with Gorilla Glass protection and 1080p resolution. Two missing features, however, are the external microSD slot and the 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone's battery is 3200mAh and features fast charging that allows 50% battery life in just 25 minutes. But contrary to some rumors it will lack Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.0. Nubia Z17 is waterproof and dustproof and will run with Android Nougat version 7.1. For the body has been used the aRC 3.0 (arc Refractive Conduction) technology, a metal that has reflections very similar to glass. In the back then you will also find the fingerprint sensor. Nubia Z17 will be sold in five different colors, black-gold, black, gold, blue and red.
The rear camera on paper could give much satisfaction to users. We're talking about a 24-megapixel sensor paired with another 12-megapixel one. The setup also supports 2x optical zoom and 10x dynamic zoom. Focusing is super fast, 0.03 seconds. The Nubia Z17 uses the company's popular Neovision 7.0 software that uses a number of smart algorithms to improve dual-camera performance. The front camera, on the other hand, is 16-megapixel. Nubia Z17 comes to market in three versions. At the moment the prices are Chinese and could change with the arrival in Europe. It will take about 400 euros for the version with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of memory. Price just under 500 euros instead for the model with 6Gb of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage instead costs almost 580 euros.
