On Pointe - Sogni in ballo: la danza in streaming on Disney +

The content is truly unique and exclusive, because for the first time a troupe will enter the premises of the School of American Ballet (SAB) in New York, a true institution for the world of youth ballet.

Episode after episode, the audience will witness the training, the rehearsals for the shows and the typical days of the young students who attend the school to realize their great dream of becoming dancers.

Specifically, we will see the youngest, who are gradually accompanied towards a professional level. They practice to make the best of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker on the Lincoln Center stage.

We will also witness the lives of the older students as they work day and night to make their careers shine.

The School of American Ballet (SAB) is the official school of the New York City Ballet Company. It was created in 1933 by George Balanchine and Lincoln Kirstein. It immediately became known for its style, called the "Balanchine Method," which combines classical and modern dance. The school also adheres to this method when it has to welcome new dancers, who must therefore meet particular technical and stylistic requirements, including musicality and the ability to combine classical and modern.
