The OnePlus 5 will be launched by the end of June with top-of-the-line features: Snapdragon 835, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage
The presentation date of the OnePlus 5 is approaching and the number of rumors is increasing, which in most cases are conflicting. The only thing certain is that the company of Carl Pei is working to present a new top of the range capable of challenging on equal terms the new Galaxy S8 and LG G6.
From the new rumors also comes the confirmation of the launch date: the OnePlus 5 will be released between the end of June and early July, the same period as last year. As previously announced, the Chinese company will not follow the "natural" numerical progression and will skip the number 4, which in Chinese tradition brings bad luck. So the next smartphone will be the OnePlus 5. Even if there is still more than a month to go before the presentation, the data sheet is now almost outlined: the most important innovations concern the chipset and the dual rear camera.

OnePlus has managed to create its own niche market in Italy and there are many Android fans who are waiting for the release of the next top of the range. From the rumors coming from China, users will be satisfied: the OnePlus 5 will mount the Snapdragon 835 chipset, supported by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. At the moment, the only doubt concerns the RAM: some reports speak of 8GB of RAM, while a screenshot posted on Weibo, Chinese microblogging platform, shows 6GB of RAM.
One of the weak points of the OnePlus 3 was the camera. On the OnePlus 5 the Chinese company has decided to adopt a dual rear camera, now present on almost all top of the range. The two rear sensors will be 23 megapixels, while the front one will be 16 megapixels with special features dedicated to selfies. No news regarding the screen: the display will have a FullHD resolution and not QuadHD.
Price and output
Regarding the price of the OnePlus 5 still have no news in this regard: the only certainty is the policy always adopted by the Chinese company, top of the range smartphones at a low price. Making a prediction, the price of the OnePlus 5 should be between 400 and 450 euros. The release date, however, will be between the end of June and early July.
