The Chinese company presents the OnePlus 6T: top-of-the-line features at a starting price of 559 euros. On sale from November 6
After many rumors, the OnePlus 6T was finally presented at an event organized in New York. At first the appointment was for October 30, but the choice of Apple to present the new iPad Pro and the new Mac on the same day, has convinced the Chinese company to anticipate a day the presentation of its new top of the range.
For some years now OnePlus presents two top of the range every twelve months: between May and June is launched the first smartphone, while between late October and early November comes the new version with the final "T". And this year the same thing happened: in June we had the presentation of the OnePlus 6, while today the OnePlus 6T was launched. Usually the "T" model is a simple update of the previous version: some features are added and the photo compartment is improved.
This year OnePlus has not presented a simple update of the previous model, but a smartphone with a different design and with very interesting features, starting with the fingerprint reader inserted under the screen. The notch that had made its debut on the OnePlus 6, in the new model becomes a simple "drop". This has allowed the Chinese company to use a display with an even larger diagonal: the OnePlus 6T has a screen of 6.41 inches. And as usual, the pricing policy of the Chinese company is very aggressive: the OnePlus 6T will be sold from 559 euros for the basic version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In addition, for the first time smartphones from the Chinese company will also be available at Mediaworld.
Features OnePlus 6T
OnePlus produces only two devices a year, but all smartphones from the Chinese company are united by an excellent value for money, thanks to top-of-the-line features and a lower price than competitors. Let's start right from the technical sheet of the OnePlus 6T: on board we find the Snapdragon 845 chipset accompanied by 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage (the 64GB version disappears). Thanks to the "teardrop" notch, the screen gains a few inches: the AMOLED display has a diagonal of 6.41'' with FullHD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
The photographic compartment remains the same as already seen on the OnePlus 6: in the back there is a dual camera with a 16-megapixel main sensor and a focal length of 1.7 and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor with a focal length of 1.7. Confirmed the presence of the optical stabilizer. In the front we find a 16-megapixel camera with focal aperture 2.0. The only new feature that we find on the OnePlus 6T is the new mode for night shots that should improve the image quality when there is little light.
The autonomy should be better thanks to the 3700 mAh battery that guarantees to get to the end of the day with at least 20% battery. Confirmed the presence of the Dash Charge that allows you to charge the smartphone in just over an hour. In order to have a larger battery, however, has been eliminated the 3.5mm audio jack, a choice that will surely discuss the fans of the Chinese company. Come funziona il lettore d’impronte sotto lo schermo del OnePlus 6T
La novità più interessante del OnePlus 6T è il lettore d’impronte inserito sotto lo schermo. Si tratta di una funzionalità ancora poco utilizzata dalle aziende, ma sarà una soluzione che nei prossimi mesi vedremo sempre con maggiore frequenza. Rispetto al classico lettore inserito sulla scocca è leggermente più lento nello sbloccare il device, ma è molto più comodo da utilizzare. Ad affiancare il lettore d’impronte sotto lo schermo è presente anche il riconoscimento facciale, che resta uno dei più veloci e affidabili presenti in circolazione.
Prezzo e disponibilità OnePlus 6T
Il OnePlus 6T sarà disponibile all’acquisto dal 6 novembre e per la prima volta in Italia potrà essere comprato anche all’interno dei negozi Mediaworld. Lo smartphone è disponibile in tre versioni:
- 6GB di RAM e 128GB di memoria interna a 559 euro
- 8GB di RAM e 128GB di memoria interna a 589 euro
- 8GB di RAM e 256GB di memoria interna a 639 euro.
Rispetto al modello precedente, il prezzo del OnePlus 6T è più alto di circa 40 euro, resta inferiore a molti top di gamma presenti sul mercato.
