The launch of OnePlus 8T is getting closer and the features are top for both the camera and the super screen
A new high-end smartphone is coming to OnePlus and it will have not only a super screen, but also a top-of-the-line camera. This is the OnePlus 8T, whose codename is kebab, equipped with a display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a new 48-megapixel sensor for excellent photos.
A decidedly wide offer from this company, which only in July launched the OnePlus Nord and is now preparing to launch four more smartphones. In addition to the two Billie, which go to occupy the mid-range of the market, the smartphones codenamed kebab, one of which is precisely the OnePlus 8T, are intended for the high end. This is also evidenced by the choice of processor that could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+. Features then better than the predecessors OnePlus 7T and 8, but that are still far from those offered by the top of the range of other brands that are equipped with the same processor.
OnePlus 8T, the features
According to new rumors, OnePlus 8T will support the 5G connection standard and will rely on a processor Snapdragon 865+, with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, although there could be other cuts for storage space. The smartphone will be equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display and 120 Hz refresh rate, as opposed to the 90 Hz of the OnePlus 8. The operating system instead will be Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 interface.
The camera compartment will also be definitely top, but it won't have a 64-megapixel main sensor as suggested by other rumors. The new main sensor, which should improve the quality of photos compared to the OnePlus 8 model, will still be 48 megapixels. The other sensors, on the other hand, are a 16-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field sensor. No indiscretions about the battery, but the smartphone will support the new fast charging system of 125 watts with cable and 65 watts with wireless charging.
OnePlus 8T, launch date
At the moment, an official launch date for OnePlus 8T has not yet been confirmed, but the time window for the release of this new smartphone would be set between late September and early October. A prediction of several leakers who also refer to the launch of the predecessor OnePlus 7T, which took place on September 26 last year.
