The Chinese company's new headphones, OnePlus Buds Z2, are close to launch: an indiscretion has revealed almost every detail of them in advance
The moment of officiality is approaching for OnePlus Buds Z2, the second generation of the Chinese company's mid-range true wireless earbuds. The first edition has been a good success with those looking for the TWS earphones that do not cost too much, but at the same time were practical and of good quality.
And the second generation (pictured first) should continue on the same track, at least judging by what they report the rumors that now return the feeling of really know everything in advance about the new OnePlus Buds Z2. Of the next headphones we know for example the dimensions, both of the earphones that of the charging case: the first will measure 33 x 22.44 x 21.8 mm for 4.5-4.6 grams, the second 73.15 mm x 36.8 x 29.07 mm for 40-42 grams. Done the necessary premise, to hear the rumors OnePlus Buds Z2 will have Bluetooth 5.2 with support for AAC/SBC codecs, a specific algorithm for the reduction of environmental noise in the call that will rely on three microphones plus a specific design to be less affected by the wind. They'll be IP55-certified waterproof against dust and liquids, which is great for those who might be buying them for sporting activities, while the case will have IPX4 certification.
Not bad autonomy, according to rumors: up to 7 hours of playback with noise reduction turned off (otherwise up to 5 hours) while including the 520 mAh charging case battery will touch a peak of 38 hours in playback. However, full charging via USB-C of OnePlus Buds Z2 will happen in 90 minutes, while fast charging might be there even if the latest rumors didn't mention it.
Different commands can be given with a press on the surface of the headset, including the call to voice assistants that will allow you to do many operations without having to pull out the smartphone.

On the price of OnePlus Buds Z2 there is still no indiscretion, but we can imagine that the price will remain similar to that expected for the current generation, which is listed in Italy for 59 euros. Impossible to know if there will be variations, but in all likelihood the price will not be upset.
As for the debut, rumors are pretty sure that OnePlus Buds Z2 will arrive by the end of October in the same circumstance in which OnePlus 9 RT will be presented.
