OPPO: 1 million smartphones in Italy and new models on the way

Oppo seems determined to take the place of Huawei on the podium of premium Chinese smartphones and sales, even in Italy, confirm that it can do it.

Oppo has reached its goal. Two years after its arrival in Italy, the Chinese company has marked its first million smartphones sold in Italy, carving out over time a large group of supporters and a prominent place within the landscape of manufacturers of devices dedicated to mobile phones.

The announcement of one million sales came from the Chinese company close to the global event called "Rediscover Color", which will be held live streaming on March 11 at 12.30 pm. During the event, OPPO will present the new four incoming smartphone models that will fill the ranks of the Find X3 line, a range of devices that focuses everything on power and color, well a billion. But this is not, of course, the only news ready to land on the market: in fact, there are really many aces of the sleeve that the company is ready to drop on the table during 2021.

OPPO Find X3, the incoming models

As for the line Find X3, as anticipated the incoming models are four: X3, X3 Pro, X3 Neo and X3 Lite. In addition to the particularly rich and bright colors, to raise the bar of the devices signed OPPO was the choice of the SoC of the top of the range. In fact, X3 Pro will mount a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, an excellent combination with the exceptional 10-bit screen.

To know all the details about this and the other three smartphones that will be part of the X3 range will have to wait until March 11, the official date of the presentation of the devices.

OPPO Reno 5, great awaited in Italy

It has not yet arrived in Italy but OPPO Reno 5 is another of the most interesting proposals coming from the company, thanks to the combination of versatility and low price. Available in two versions, both with 4G and 5G connectivity (priced, however, decidedly higher than its counterpart from the less performing technology), the smartphone mounts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor, 8GB of RAM and 128 GB storage space.

There is still no official information about the launch of OPPO Reno 5 in our country but many are waiting for its arrival, in order to test the model's features with their own hands.

OPPO and the new ultra fast charger

Another novelty is that of the Chinese company's ultra fast charger. Presented during the Mobile World Congress 2021 held in Shanghai, OPPO's new charger is capable of charging a 4000mAh battery in just 20 minutes either via cable, thanks to 125W of power, or wirelessly, using AirVOOC technology.

This advanced performance addition has even prompted OPPO to make smartphones with smaller and, consequently, lighter batteries. According to the company, there is no longer any need to have a lot of mAh when you can have a smartphone charged to full power in just a handful of minutes.
