Here are the three titles that Sony will give away in July to PlayStation Plus subscribers: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds and A Plague Tale: Innocence
Sony has just unveiled the list of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games that will be available for free starting in July to PlayStation Plus subscribers, the subscription service that allows you to access multiplayer, save data in the cloud and play a range of titles at no extra cost.
July's PlayStation Plus news are three, two for PlayStation 4 and one for PlayStation 5, Sony's latest. Thanks to backward compatibility, however, the two PS4 titles are also playable on PS5. The new games will actually be available for subscribers to the service from Tuesday, July 6, so Monday 5 will be the last day to redeem the three free games of June, namely Star Wars: Squadrons, Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown and Operation Tango. The three new titles for July 2021 are instead Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds and A Plague Tale: Innocence.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for PS4, but backwards compatible with PS5
A sort of experiment. This is how you can define Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which in 2018 introduced a major break with its predecessor Call of Duty Black Ops III: no single-player campaign, "only" a varied multiplayer experience with Blackout mode.
The single-player campaign returned in the next chapter Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but this does not mean that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is devoid of content: in addition to Blackout mode there is multiplayer experience and the iconic Zombies mode.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds for PS4, but backwards compatible with PS5
WWE 2K Battlegrounds is a very recent title that offers a very special experience thanks to a shamelessly exaggerated and almost caricatured gameplay. No simulation as in the classic WWE games, then, but a "light" experience.
The story is told through a comic book, offers great customization options, fights based on skill trees and power ups, several "side" modes and a good variety of characters including some stars such as Hulk Hogan and The rock.
A Plague Tale: Innocence for PS5
As a PlayStation 5 title, A Plague Tale: Innocence is intuitively a recent addition. In medieval France ravaged by war and the Plague, the two siblings Amicia and Hugo are suddenly forced to say goodbye to boyhood and become adults, learning to know and trust each other in order to escape the Inquisition and unspeakable horrors.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is a third-person action/adventure game that finds its main strength in its narrative. On PlayStation 5, the game is in 4K at 60 frames per second.
