The arrival of the Poco M2 Pro has been rumored for days now and today comes the officiality. The new low-cost smartphone from the Chinese company is almost a "clone" of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, a variant Xiaomi intended for the Indian market.
The data sheet of the new smartphone from Xiaomi has been revealed and confirms the previously leaked rumors. One of the few differences with the Redmi Note 9S and Pro is the battery charging, which will be faster. The cost in India for the 4 GB RAM version starts at 13999 rupees, at the current exchange rate around 165 euros. For the version equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, on the other hand, the price goes up to 14999 rupees, about 177 euros. Finally, the most expensive one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is on the market at 16999 rupees, about 200 euros. Poco M2 Pro will be available starting July 14.

The new smartphone from Xiaomi falls in the mid-range range and is powered by a Snapdragon 720G SoC processor with Adreno A618 GPU. The Poco M2 Pro was made with 4 or 6 GB of RAM, while for the internal memory you can choose between 64 or 128 GB, expandable via microSD slot up to 512GB. The operating system is Android 10 with MIUI 11 customization.
The display is 6.67 inches with FHD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, with 16 Megapixel front camera hole, 450nit brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 glass. The rear camera is equipped with four sensors, the 48-megapixel main, 8-megapixel wide-angle, 5-megapixel telephoto and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Poco M2 Pro then features Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, USB-C port, VoLTE, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The Xiaomi smartphone is equipped with an environmental sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, and side fingerprint sensor.
The 5,000mAh battery provides good battery life and supports 33W fast charging, which allows you to charge the smartphone by 50% in less than 30 minutes. The dimensions, on the other hand, are 165.75×76.68×8.8mm for 209 grams of weight. Poco M2 Pro is available in three color variants to choose from: blue, green and black.
