Carrefour's website published by mistake the possible price of the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Digital Edition: here's how much they will cost
Sony has made official for August 6 at 22:00 the State of Play, a new event dedicated to the presentation of the PlayStation 5. The Japanese company has already assured that it will only talk about video games and the event will be focused almost exclusively on PS4 and PlayStation VR, but the surprises may not end there. In fact, the rumors of a probable announcement of prices and release date of the PS5, both in normal and Digital version, are becoming more and more insistent.
All these rumors are joined by a new one that comes directly from France: the famous chain Carrefour has published by mistake and for a few minutes a page with the likely prices of PS5. Per la versione Digital il prezzo è di 399 euro, mentre per quella normale con lettore Blu-Ray il costo è di 499 euro. Come è accaduto anche in altri casi simili, Carrefour ha immediatamente eliminato il riferimento al prezzo e smentito il tutto. Il fatto, però, resta. Soprattutto a pochi giorni di distanza da quello che potrebbe essere a tutti gli effetti l’evento in cui verrà annunciato ufficialmente il prezzo della PS5.
Prezzo PS5, tutto quello che sappiamo finora
L’errore di Carrefour potrebbe essere dipeso anche dal fatto che la catena si stia preparando ad aprire la pagina con i pre-ordini. D’altronde non è il primo sito web ad annunciare che sarà possibile pre-ordinare la console a breve: lo stesso ha fatto Walmart (altra grande catena commerciale) negli USA.
Per quanto riguarda i prezzi, sebbene Carrefour li ha eliminati immediatamente, si può pensare che siano veramente quelli ufficiale. Tutti gli indizi degli ultimi mesi portano alla stessa considerazione:
- prezzo PS5: 499 euro
- prezzo PS5 Digital Edition: 399 euro.
Un prezzo di lancio elevato, ma necessario prendendo in considerazione tutte le componenti interne scelte da Sony per la nuova console, a partire dal SSD in grado di azzerare i tempi di caricamento dei videogame. Nei mesi precedenti alcune analisi e report avevano parlato di un costo di produzione della PS5 superiore ai 300 euro, a cui aggiungere le spese per la promozione e il trasporto. Quindi un costo finale di 499 euro è l’ipotesi più probabile, se non addirittura troppo basso.
Prezzo accessori PS5, cosa ci dice Carrefour
Nell’immagine che è trapelata online con il prezzo della PS5, i più attenti avranno notato la presenza anche di alcuni accessori per la nuova console.
