The news related to the release has already been spread for a while, in fact it will be playable from November 17 and will also include Kombat Pack 2 and Aftermath, an expansion of the game. But now there's news that winks at action movie lovers.
One of the game's protagonists will be Rambo, a cult character from the 1980s. The final details of the video game are now in the works and it is expected to be a well-designed edition full of incredible features. The news that has made all fans of the game really happy is that the voice of Rambo during gaming will be dubbed by Sylvester Stallone himself. Mileena and Rain will also complete the roster of fighters. Rambo's entry into the game is an important confirmation: as we have already seen in other games such as Fortnite, the world of cinema and music is increasingly intertwined with the world of video games.
Rambo in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
To confirm the presence of Rambo with Stallone's original voice in the eleventh edition of Mortal Kombat is Dominic Cianciolo, the one in charge of writing and voices at NetherRealm Studios. He assured that the character will not disappoint even the most fervent and demanding fans: "Rambo's look has been taken care of in detail by our character artists and in particular they were inspired by the film First Blood".
So the look of the character will be inspired by the original film released in 1982, but also by its sequels. The choice seems right, Rambo's voice is one of the best known and immediately reminds us of a scenario without scruples and mercy where the only objective is to fight to survive. So Mortal Kombat confirms itself as one of the most unscrupulous and violent fighting games in the history of video games.
Cianciolo, during an interview, spoke about the connection between the voice of the character and the video game: "We worked hard to make sure that every line of dialogue was faithful to the Rambo that fans know and love".
Who are the other characters in the video game?
In addition to Rambo in Kombat Pack 2 we will find two old faces from the saga created by Ed Boon and John Tobias, namely Rain and Mileena. These new characters will join other veteran fighters in the pack: Shang Tsung, Terminator T-800, Joker and Spawn, Sindel and Nightwolf. In the Aftermath expansion we will instead find RoboCop, Sheeva and Fuji.
How to use Rambo in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
Those who already own the first version of Mortal Kombat 11 and will buy Xbox Series S/X or the PS 5 will be able to upgrade the game to Ultimate for free from November 17. The update will introduce other new features, most notably dynamic 4K resolution.
