The new Chinese smartphone Realme GT Neo 2 has arrived in Italy and the features are really interesting, but especially so is the price
The latest smartphone from the Chinese brand Realme has finally arrived in Italy. The new Realme GT Neo 2 had been announced two months ago, but now it can be purchased with an excellent value for money. That's why many have already crowned it as the new flagship killer.
The technical features are respectable, starting with the wide 6.62-inch AMOLED screen that offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Even the chipset is not bad at all, thanks to the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 that guarantees excellent performance and obviously does not lack 5G connectivity. A long battery life is guaranteed by the 5000 mAh battery that supports fast charging: it reaches 100% charge in just 36 minutes. Even the design offers simple lines, but on the back the coloring is very original, with a black band that crosses the phone vertically in contrast with a beautiful neon green for the Neo Green coloration. In short, for those looking for a mid-range phone with an attractive design at a good price, Realme GT Neo 2 is the answer.
Realme GT Neo 2: technical specifications
We start from the display that offers a 6.621-inch AMOLED E4 panel with Full HD+ resolution at 2040×1080 pixels, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 1300 nits of peak brightness. The performance instead are guaranteed by the SoC Snapdragon 870, with octa core CPU at 3.2 GHz and Adreno 650 GPU, supported by at least 8 GB of RAM, but with the possibility to choose also the 12 GB cut. Internal storage is UFS 3.1 type with a choice of 128 GB or 256 GB.
As for connectivity, of course there is no shortage of 5G and 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Navic, QZSS and a USB C port. The battery is 5000 mAh and supports SuperDart Charge at 65 watts for a full charge in 36 minutes.
Multimedia is provided by the two Dolby Atmos Hi-Res stereo speakers, combined with GT Mode 2.0 and the Tactile Engine 2.0, a system that allows for heat dissipation and makes for a great experience for those who engage in gaming.
Realme GT Neo 2: camera and design
The camera compartment on the back offers a triple configuration with 64 MP main sensor and f/1.8 aperture, 8 MP ultra wide-angle sensor and f/2.2 aperture and a 2 MP macro with f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera, on the other hand, is 16 MP. There is also a photo software with interesting features such as Street Photography Mode to do the "point and shoot", the Super Nightscape Mode for night photos and other modes supported by artificial intelligence for professional photos.
The design is simple and unobtrusive, but it is in the Neo Green coloration that we find the most originality: a fluorescent green background crossed by a black band. Simple instead the other two colors Neo Black and Neo Blue.
Realme GT Neo 2: release date and price
The new Realme GT Neo 2 has also arrived in Italy, where it is on sale at a price starting from 449 euros, for the version 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, up to 549 euros for 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
