10.4-inch screen, Dolby Atmos audio and MediaTek processor for this small tablet with an even smaller price: will it arrive in Italy too?
Also Realme enters the tablet market segment and does so with a model with an extremely popular price: it's called, quite simply, Realme Pad and has just been launched in India. Unlike other cheap products launched on the Indian market, Realme Pad will almost certainly arrive on the international market, perhaps even in Italy.
Realme Pad goes to compete with a myriad of semi-anonymous Chinese products, priced very similar but with guarantees of durability and reliability very vague. It is a device with very basic technical specifications, which focuses on the convenience of transport, lightness and autonomy. The data sheet, however, also has some goodies that make Realme Pad also suitable for the enjoyment of streaming content, with the obvious limitation of size: we are talking about a small tablet, with a screen of 10.4 inches. Small is also the price, although at the moment we only know the Indian one.
Realme Pad: technical characteristics
Realme Pad is a 10.4-inch tablet, 6.9 millimeters thick and weighing 440 grams. From the point of view of carrying convenience, therefore, it has something to brag about. The screen has a WUXGA+ resolution, an acronym well known but which in practice means 2000×1200 pixels, not a few for a 10-inch.
Interesting the audio section, based on four speakers and Dolby Atmos certification. Molto buona anche la batteria, da 7.100 mAh.
A queste caratteristiche tecniche molto buone si aggiungono quelle della piattaforma hardware, che è prettamente low cost: processore MediaTek Helio G80 e configurazioni di memoria da 3/32 GB o 4/64 GB. Niente di eclatante, ma di sicuro sufficiente per un utilizzo quotidiano standard, fatto di navigazione Web, qualche film in streaming e app poco pesanti.
Non si hanno al momento informazioni ufficiali sulle fotocamere, una frontale e una posteriore. Si sa invece che sarà disponibile una versione solo Wi-Fi ed una anche con SIM dati LTE e che il software preinstallato di fabbrica è la Realme UI for Pad, basata su Android 11.
Realme Pad: quanto costa e quando arriva
Sul mercato indiano Realme Pad sarà in vendita a partire da mezzogiorno del 16 settembre 2021, ai seguenti prezzi convertiti in euro:
- Realme Pad 3/32 GB Wi-Fi – 160 euro
- Realme Pad 3/32 GB Wi-Fi+LTE – 183 euro
- Realme Pad 4/64 GB Wi-Fi+LTE – 206 euro
Non ci sono al momento notizie ufficiali su un arrivo di questo piccolo tablet economico anche in Italia o, comunque, sul mercato internazionale ma è probabile che ciò avvenga entro Natale, se non già prima.
