Who said that 5G connection is only reserved for top-of-the-line smartphones? Realme X50 will be the first low-cost 5G device to be launched on the market. The news has been made official by the Chinese company, which also announced the launch price of the smartphone. In addition to the modem for 5G, the device has respectable specifications.
On board we find the Snapdragon 765 processor and a screen with 120Hz refresh rate that makes the use of Realme X50 5G smoother. The photo compartment is also promising: it comes with 64-megapixel rear cameras, two 16-megapixel selfie-cams and a fast-charging battery. The low-cost smartphone Realme X50 is initially available in China, but in the coming weeks / months will also arrive in Europe and Italy.
Realme X50: features
The Realme X50 is the new low-cost mid-range smartphone of the Chinese company recently arrived in Italy and has attacked the market with smartphones from the quality-price ratio very high. The latest generation components ensure excellent performance: it mounts a processor Snapdragon 765G supported by 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of internal memory. The 6.57-inch IPS screen has a 120 Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution.
The rear cameras are four: 64 Megapixel main sensor, 12 Megapixel telephoto lens, 8 Megapixel wide-angle camera and 2 Megapixel macro sensor. Dual front cameras with 16 Megapixel sensor and 12 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
It also has a heat dissipation system that prevents the phone from reaching high temperatures while you're playing games. It has a 4,200 mAh battery and advanced technology that allows the phone to charge up to 70% in thirty minutes.
Besides these, the device also has other features: a side-mounted fingerprint reader, microSD card slot, Dolby Sound audio support and dual SIM slot, as well as USB-C port to connect the charger. It will be released with Android 10 operating system.
Realme X50: the special edition
Realme, alongside the standard edition, has also presented a special version of the Realme X50. Its peculiarity? The design will be made by Japanese artist Mr. Fukasawa and will be available in different colors and patterns. The phone will have 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
Realme X50 5G: price and release date
As mentioned, the low-cost smartphone will come out in several variants. For each one there will be a different price. The model with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage will cost about 325 euros. The model with 6GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage will cost 348 euros. Finally, the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage will be sold at 387 euros. Then there will be the special edition that will be priced at 400 euros. The prices refer to the Chinese market, where the smartphone will be released in mid-January. In the coming put will also arrive in Italy and official prices will be announced.
