Redmi Note 10 arrives Thursday: how is the new mid-range phone

The new mid-range Redmi will be a clever mix of technology from last year and this year: at a very affordable price a discrete SoC and a great camera.

The launch of Redmi Note 10 is just a few days away and on the network continue to emerge interesting anticipations. According to rumors that bounce between the main websites, the new mid-range smartphone would bet everything on a photographic quality, accompanied by a processor with satisfactory performance.

According to what is said by the leaks, Redmi Note 10 should mount a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor, accompanied by a 6GB RAM and two different sizes of storage space, namely 64GB and 128GB. On the front side, there is a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, DotDisplay (a name that indicates the type of embedding of the front camera in the panel), with Full HD+ resolution and equipped with 60Hz refresh rate.

To power the smartphone there would be a 5,000 mAh battery, with support for fast charging at 33 W. As for the interface, however, the choice seems to have fallen on MIUI 12, based on the Android 11 operating system.

As anticipated by the images, on the back of Redmi Note 10 you can see the presence of a quadruple camera module, of which, however, little is still known from the technical point of view. According to the leaker Mahesh Singh, to make a difference should be the primary sensor, from as many as 108 MP as already seen on other competitors of higher economic range and on the "cousin" Xiaomi Mi 11.

An interesting information on the subject then came directly from Manu Kumar Jain; the Vice President of Xiaomi has confirmed the presence of a macro sensor evolved compared to previous models. This is the 5MP Super-Macro lens present on the Redmi Note 10 series, although it is not yet certain whether it will appear on all versions that will be part of it or exclusively on the Pro model.

Complete the picture of the equipment other pleasant features, such as dual speakers and the input for 3.5mm mini audio jack cable dedicated to wired headphones. Also on the bottom is a USB Type-C port, while the side shell houses the fingerprint recognition sensor.

The launch, as mentioned before, is scheduled for next March 4. According to Mahesh Singh's tweets, Redmi Note 10 is expected to be available in the Indian market at a price of 15999 rupees, or around 180 euros. The European price, as is almost always the case, is expected to be higher.
