ASUS announced in Italy the marketing, pricing and availability of two incredible gaming smartphones, ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro
Presented in August, the ASUS ROG Phone 5s now arrive in Italy. The differences between the standard and the Pro variant are minimal, and in fact are limited to the amount of RAM (however, the standard comes to 16 GB, not a few), the presence of a small color display on the back and little else.
High prices, but if you do not make the mistake of ignoring the specifications you can take note of how they are justified by their technical level, to achieve which - it is clear - we did not compromise. The prospectus does not tell the "goodies" inserted by ASUS to make the two smartphones of real portable game consoles that can also call. Like the GameCool 5 architecture that sees the CPU centered with respect to the (two) batteries to facilitate the dissipation of heat under stress, a task to which contributes significantly to the active dissipation system AeroActive Cooler 5 capable of subtracting the hardware up to 10 degrees Celsius. ASUS ROG Phone 5s range, features
The screen is shared between the two ASUS ROG Phone 5s and has very high profile features. It is a 6.78-inch AMOLED manufactured by Samsung with Full HD+ resolution at 144 Hz with 360 Hz touch sampling, a color calibration that allowed for a delta E of less than 1 and covered by Victus Gorilla Glass. ROG Phone 5s Pro also has the ROG Vision rear color display.
Also shared the chip, which could not be other than the best in the Qualcomm range: it is the Snapdragon 888+ from 3 GHz maximum frequency accompanied by super fast memories, so LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. ROG Phone 5s can count on 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, while ROG Phone 5s Pro is sold in the only variant 18+512 GB.
Three rear cameras on both ASUS ROG Phone 5s: the main one is 64 MP, then there are a 13 MP ultra wide-angle and finally a 5 MP macro. On the front surface there is instead a 24 MP sensor. Very nice audio compartment, which does not lack the input for the 3.5 mm audio jack and which is composed of a double front speaker with seven magnets optimized with the collaboration of Dirac. C’è un DAC ESS Hi-Fi per massimizzare la qualità in cuffia.
Da 6.000 mAh con ricarica rapida a 65 watt la batteria dei due ROG Phone 5s, in cui il lettore di impronte digitali per lo sblocco è sistemato al di sotto dello schermo. Dimensioni di 173 x 77 x 9,90 mm e peso di 238 grammi.
Gamma ASUS ROG Phone 5s, prezzi e disponibilità
Solo uno dei due smartphone da gaming taiwanesi è disponibile da subito sul mercato italiano, ma in realtà è come se lo fossero entrambi perché ROG Phone 5s Pro arriverà tra qualche giorno, “a metà novembre" ha detto ASUS.
