The Galaxy A11 is Samsung's new low-cost smartphone: reliable performance and below-average price. Here are the features
Enough rumors: Samsung Galaxy A11 is officially a new smartphone from the Korean manufacturer. It appeared on Samsung's website, with all the technical characteristics but still without a price. And, among the features, there are also the 4 cameras: one front and three rear.
The price should not be very high, because the Galaxy A11 is in fact an entry-level range device, despite having four cameras and very large screen. In fact, it seems that Samsung points to the Galaxy A11 as a device for those who want to spend little and reliable features. A device, in short, that inherits perfectly the role of the Galaxy A10 that will gradually replace and that, consequently, should have a similar price: maybe a little higher at launch, and then align after a few months. The new commercial strategy of Samsung, once focused exclusively on premium devices, but that today does not disdain at all smartphone "for all", therefore continues expeditious.
Samsung Galaxy A11: the four cameras
We start from the cameras, certainly the most appreciable feature of this smartphone 2020 low cost Samsung. There are four, with the front 8 MP and f/2.0 aperture positioned in a hole in the screen, in the upper left (Infinity-O, as Samsung says). Behind, however, are the other three: the main one is 13 MP with f/1.8 aperture, then there's the 5 MP ultra wide angle and f/2.2 aperture and, finally, the ever-present 2 MP f/2.4 ToF depth sensor. Samsung has not yet included in its official website the technical specifications of the video compartment, but we can not expect much in the way of frame rate given the market segment that will cover this low cost smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy A11: technical characteristics
The other technical characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy A11 revolve around an unspecified octa core processor from 1.8 GHz maximum speed, flanked by 2 or 3 GB of RAM and only 32 GB of storage space, expandable up to 512GB via microSD slot. The screen is a 6.4-inch TFT LCD Infinity-O with a resolution of 720×1,560 pixels, with not exactly thin bezels. Good battery, 4,000 mAh and with 15-watt fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy A11 will have both facial recognition and fingerprint reader, positioned in the rear of the shell. The colors available at launch will be four: black, blue, red and white.
