After many rumors and indiscretions Samsung has made official, at least in the Netherlands, the price and features of its new low cost 5G smartphone.

The new Samsung Galaxy A22 5G, and its 4G variant, are official. They come from the parent company of the technical specifications of smartphones belonging to the series of economic range that, as already happened in the past, they know intrigue that segment of the public who prefers devices from the lowest price without sacrificing performance.
So they go to add two more pieces to the mosaic of the proposals of the Korean company that, for the occasion, focuses on device of less pretensions but do not want to be less, especially in the case of Galaxy A22 5G, compared to the equipment already seen in the most expensive counterparts on the market. Small size and interesting features make these two new phones in force in the Galaxy A line of valid alternatives not to be underestimated, in a category that over time has been able to build a niche of admirers increasingly attentive to the smallest details.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G, all the features
It is the device that gives the best of itself on the network, between the two recently presented, since it is the only one that can count on 5G, probably the cheapest among the offerings of the Korean giant. On the front side we find a 6.6-inch Infinity-V LCD IPS display, with FHD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. At the heart is a MediaTek Dimensity 7005G processor, with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, along with the combination of 4/6/8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD card.
The video compartment has on its side a triple photo module on the back, structured in a 48MP and f/1.8 main sensor with OIS, 5MP and f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens and an additional 2MP and f/2.4 depth sensor. In the front notch, dedicated to selfies and video calls is the 8MP camera.
The smartphone can rely on a capacious 5000mAh battery, with support for 15W charging. To complete the equipment, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, GPS, fingerprint reader on the side shell and, welcome presence, the USB Type-C port and for the 3.5mm mini jack connector dedicated to wired headphones.
From the measurements of 167.2 x 76.4 x 9 mm and 203 grams of weight, the phone is made in four different colors: white, gray, mint green and purple. The price si Samsung Galaxy A22 5G at the moment is known only in the Netherlands: 229 euros.
Samsung Galaxy A22 4G, all the features
It is the brother with connectivity less performing but can take advantage of some choices of a different technical type than the previous version that allow him to be appreciated without any remorse. On Samsung Galaxy A22 4G we have at our disposal a 6.4-inch Infinity-U screen, slightly smaller than the one mounted on the 5G, but equipped with HD+ resolution, Super Amoled technology and 90Hz refresh rate.
Looking inside, it is implemented always a MediaTek SoC but in the Helio G80 type, with RAM and internal memory cuts of 4/6GB for the first and 128GB for the second, not expandable due to the absence of the slot for external cards.
The Galaxy A22 4G's camera module is quadruple, with a 48MP and f/1.8 primary sensor with OIS, 8MP and f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens to which is added the macro and depth pair of 2MP each. Frontally, however, embedded in the display there and a 13MP cam.
Purely in this case the battery is particularly large, 5000mAh and 15W wired fast charge. And then, there's no shortage of WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and dual Usb Type-C and 3.5mm minijack cable slots. Lighter, only 186 grams, and with dimensions of 159.3 x 73.6 x 8.4 mm, Galaxy A22 4G will also be available in four colors, white, black, mint green and purple at a cost that, for the moment, has not yet been revealed.
