Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3: here’s what they’ll look like

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are now close to presentation: now a big leak reveals their aesthetics and features

The presentation of Samsung's new foldables is just a few days away. There is still no official date, but the company will probably hold in August the event from which will come out Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, and the fact that rumors have already begun to increase in pace is a further indication that August should be the month to be circled in red.

The well-known informant Evan Blass has distributed on the network two images of the new foldable smartphones really very similar to those that are usually distributed by Samsung during the event. The level of detail is that, as well as the arrangement of the photo: in short, if these images came from Samsung there would be no surprise. Instead they are indiscretions, and although the two photos inspire reliability should still be taken with a grain of salt. The real news that comes from the render is the presence of the S Pen on Galaxy Z Fold 3: it seems to be a pen designed specifically for the folding, to suggest it is the wording "Fold Edition" engraved on the end of the same. Unfortunately, there is no housing in which to store it, but according to rumors it should not be missing.

The aesthetics of Galaxy Z Fold 3 no secrets

On the back of Galaxy Z Fold 3 there is a three-element camera group arranged vertically, while on the opposite surface is missing perhaps the most anticipated feature of the Korean foldable that is the camera in the display. From the Evan Blass render in fact you can clearly see the presence of a hole in the display for the selfie camera, the same solution of the current model.

Little to say instead on the account of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, which appears devoid of novelty compared to the renders seen in the past.

Main characteristics of Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3

In the meantime Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 have been certified by the U.S. FCC, and inevitably for Samsung this has led to a loss of information on the two foldable. The body has confirmed compatibility with the S Pen on Galaxy Z Fold 3, the presence of Ultra-Wide Band technology that is used for IoT devices and trackers such as Samsung's SmartTag+, and fast charging at 25 watts wired and 9 watts wireless, the latter technology that could come in handy to recharge the S Pen as well as compatible accessories.

At 4,275 mAh the battery capacity that FCC found on Galaxy Fold 3 reached through two separate cells of equal capacity. Decidedly smaller the one that will power Galaxy Z Flip 3, also due to the effect of significantly smaller size compared to its brother: the FCC detected a 3,273 mAh battery, with wired charging at 15 watts and wireless charging at 9 watts. On the clamshell foldable, according to the FCC, it will lack support for the S Pen and the Ultra-Wide Band.
