There's a lot of talk about Galaxy S22 Ultra, but Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ won't be outdone in terms of photographic capabilities: here are the latest details
Lately, there's been a lot of talk around Samsung's absolute top of the line for 2022, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. On several occasions the so-called well-informed have offered us previews on its photographic compartment, which as always will not have too many compromises. But what about the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+?
The two Samsung smartphones, which will also be top of the range, will be equally valid products but "different" from the spearhead Ultra, which this year will take on the shoulders all the weight of the Galaxy Note series, on which, it seems, should be put a stone on. What is certain is that both the Ultra variant as well as Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will have few rivals able to exceed or even equalize the photographic performance that they will be able to offer customers, and beyond the technical specifications on which Ice Universe offers us a preview, on the fact that Samsung will offer the best of its production there are really few doubts.
Samsung Galaxy S22, how they take photos
As every year, therefore, the photographic capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S22 will be among the most important aspects of the entire user experience. There isn't a top of the line Samsung device that didn't have a market leading photo compartment at the time it was launched, and the Galaxy S22 will be no exception.
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will have the same three cameras at the rear. The tipster didn't just anticipate the number of lenses, but shared a preview of the specs of the three to give fans a clear picture of the information he was able to get.
The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+'s 1/1.57-inch main sensor will be a Samsung Isocell HM3 with a 50-megapixel resolution, f/1 aperture.8 and 1 μm pixels; alongside it will be a 1/2.55-inch ultra-wide-angle sensor with 12-megapixel resolution, f/2.2 aperture and 1.4 μm pixels; the third sensor will be a 1/3.94-inch telephoto lens that will realize 3x optical magnifications with 10-megapixel resolution, f/2.4 aperture and 1 μm pixels. On the front surface of the two Galaxy S22s, on the other hand, there will be a 10-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.22 μm pixels.

Ice Universe took the opportunity to share with fans, in addition to the very detailed specifications on the cameras, also what it was able to gather regarding presentation and market availability. Recall that the Galaxy S21 range was announced in mid-January 2021 and then available for purchase on the 29th of the same month.
If the information obtained by Ice Universe turns out to be accurate, the Samsung Galaxy S22 range will arrive more or less on the same schedule, to be picky with a bit of a delay: the presentation to the world would be set for February 8, 2022, while to buy one would have to wait until February 18.
