Samsung Galaxy S22 will have continuous zoom and a new chip

The Galaxy S21 zoom was just a taste: Samsung's next flagship smartphone will adopt a much more refined solution and, perhaps, even a new graphics chip.

Galaxy S22 Ultra will arrive next year but it's already making waves thanks to some interesting leaks revealed in the last few hours. The next top of the range smartphone of the Korean company will have at its disposal a continuous zoom, linked to a revised and corrected camera, and a more powerful and completely renewed GPU.

Although the current model, Galaxy S21 Ultra, can count on one of the best cameras currently available in the world of smartphones, the one that will appear on the version of next year will give her a hard time thanks to the technical innovations provided by the tipster Ice Universe. If the anticipations are confirmed, the new rear camera could even exceed the performance of current lenses, based on a fixed structure and, therefore, without the freedom of movement, which should instead peep on the new model.

Galaxy S22 Ultra, how will be the new camera

According to information from Ice Universe, the camera of the Galaxy S22 will use a mechanism that allows free movement from 3x to 10x of the elements, just like in normal digital cameras. The methodology will take up in part what has already been seen on the Sony Xperia 1 III periscope camera, but stopped at two fixed levels of magnification, at 3x and 4.4x.

With the movement of the elements, the camera of the S22 model could give great satisfaction, offering a quality and definition of the image at each level of magnification. In this way, therefore, Samsung would have the opportunity to say goodbye to even the slightest flaws due to the normal use of lenses at non-native zoom levels.

Galaxy S22 Ultra, new enhanced GPU

The 2022 model will bring a breath of fresh air from the GPU point of view as well. In fact, the Exynos 2200 processor will have the opportunity to take advantage of the AMD Radeon Mobile GPU. According to the first rumors about it, the GPU in question would be able to guarantee particularly high performance, even higher than those offered by Apple's A14 Bionic chip.

Galaxy S22 Ultra, also changes the front cam

This is a detail but certainly not negligible. In fact, even the display of the new smartphone will bring with it - if confirmed - an important revolution: it is the camera hidden under the screen, a solution that would avoid the presence of the punch hole to which we are normally accustomed to a panel completely integrated on the entire surface.

So there are many new features coming that, if they were confirmed, could make this new Samsung device an excellent evolution of an already satisfactory model. We can only wait for further developments to know more about its future.
