Netflix ha presentato la serie animata durante la Festa del Cinema di Roma. Ecco quando esce e le dichiarazioni dell’autore
Strappare lungo i bordi è il titolo della nuova serie animata scritta, diretta e interpretata da Zerocalcare, alias del fumettista Michele Rech. Attesissima dal pubblico, è stata presentata da Netflix durante la Festa del Cinema di Roma. I vertici della piattaforma hanno annunciato che la serie tv sarà disponibile su Netflix a partire dal 17 novembre in Italia e tutti gli altri Paesi in cui il servizio è attivo.
Lo show è prodotto da Movimenti Production e BAO Publishing, la casa editrice che ha pubblicato la maggior parte dei libri dell’artista. Dopo aver incantato e divertito per anni i lettori, Zerocalcare passa quindi allo streaming. Among the characters, there will also be the iconic Armadillo, played by the voice of Valerio Mastandrea. In short, everything is ready on Netflix to welcome the new Italian TV series.
Strappare lungo i bordi: nuove anticipazioni
The plot of Zerocalcare's animated series had been described in broad strokes some time ago. The story will be full of memories, deja-vù, flashbacks, there will be no lack of anecdotes about the author's childhood. As always, his real life is mixed with fantasy, producing a desecrating and ironic result. Zerocalcare narrates every scene and doubles all the characters, except for the iconic Armadillo who takes on the voice of Valerio Mastandrea.
The cartoonist will bring his fictional universe to the screen in a show of 6 episodes of 15 minutes each. Many friends of the artist will participate. The Roman singer-songwriter Giancane will also take part in the show, who instead has edited the tracklist. He and Zerocalcare have been collaborating since 2018, the year in which the video for Giancane's song Ipocondria in featuring Rancore was produced, which later served as the soundtrack to Rebibbia Quarantine's animated mini-clips, produced in 2020 at the height of the pandemic. Giancane also actively participates in the TV series, his original compositions embellishing some of the most intense moments in the different episodes.

During the Rome Film Festival, the author commented on the series and in particular the songs featured. He admitted to having chosen a soundtrack "a bit boomer" but justified the choice by saying that those songs have accompanied him throughout his life. The music enriches the scenes created together with the animation team of Movimenti. Grazie a questa collaborazione il pubblico potrà godersi una narrazione fluida e interdipendente fatta di musica e immagini. Il Il fumettista ha concluso dicendo "il risultato mi piace un botto".
Non rimane, quindi, che collegarsi a Netflix a partire dal 17 novembre per guardare la nuova serie di Zerocalcare.
