Super Mario 64 lands on the web and becomes multiplayer

The famous video game released by Nintendo in 1996 has been revamped into a web and multiplayer version by a group of independent developers

Super Mario 64, the famous video game released in 1996, has now become multiplayer thanks to a series of passionate users who have worked in the transformation of the game. There are 24 players who will be able to compete simultaneously in the new version of Super Mario 64.

The fans will be able to participate in two different modes. On the one hand we can complete the levels and try to collect more coins than our opponents, or we can "beat the crap out of each other" trying to be the best by finishing the level before the others. Super Mario 64 in multiplayer version has been designed by some independent developers, Kaze Emanuar, Melonspeedruns and Marshivolt. A lot of new characters were also included within the video game, such as: Yoshi, Luigi, Toad, Peach, Wario, Waluigi. And there are also a lot of new features within the game, such as hide-and-seek or obstacle courses.

Nintendo does not approve

Unfortunately at the moment the new multiplayer version of Super Mario 64 has not received the approval of Nintendo. This means that it is very likely that soon the project will have to be completely modified or even shut down to avoid heavy penalties. That's why if we're big Mario fans we should try to play it as soon as possible. Before Super Mario 64 multiplayer is removed from the market. The game can be downloaded on almost any type of computer for free.
