Amazon's Prime Video streaming platform expands the offer of anime to watch in November 2021: what's coming
In the last period Amazon Prime Video is focusing more and more on anime, so much so that it has renewed and expanded its catalog related to the world of Japanese animation. Also in November 2021 there are several anime movies and TV series coming to the streaming platform.
Already in October, the debut of Lupin III -Part 6 was noticed, with a new season dedicated to the gentleman thief that the publisher Yamato Video announced that it will be simulcast and exclusive on Prime Video. Also important is the collaboration with Italian publisher Dynit, which could mark the arrival of new and interesting titles. Among the anime to watch in November are great classics like Lamu, the Space Girl and other titles including the movie Demon Slayer, and the animated serien Bleach, Blade of the Immortal and Psychopass. Lamu, the Space Girl
The main character of Lamu, the Space Girl is Ataru Moroboshi, a listless high schooler who often finds himself in awkward situations and problems to solve. His girlfriend is Shinobu, but every opportunity is good to court other women, until they return home an alien, who threatens to invade the Earth. In order to save the planet, Ataru finds himself in 10 days having to successfully chase the young and beautiful Lamu, daughter of the Alien Lord. The young man succeeds in the task, but Lamu falls in love with him and decides to stay on Earth to get married.
Demon slayer - The Mugen Train
After the animated series, on Prime Video also comes the film of Demon Slayer - The Mugen Train, inspired by the famous manga Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba, written and drawn by Koyoharu Gotouge. The main characters are Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke who join Rengoku Kyojuro, one of the most powerful swordsmen in the demon slaying team known as the Pillar of Flames. The group will have to face a dangerous demon aboard the Mugen train, launched at crazy speed on the tracks of absolute despair.
Bleach
Bleach is the animated series inspired by the manga of the same name by Tite Kuboa. The main characters are 15-year-old student Ichigo Kurosaki, who has the special ability to see ghosts, and Rukia Kuchiki, a Shinigami, which is a kind of oriental entity that indicates death. The two meet during the hunt for an evil spirit, Rukia is injured and transfers part of her powers to Ichigo, but something does not go as it should.
At the moment on Prime Video are available the first 5 seasons, while from January 2022 will come season 6 and 7 of the series.
Blade of the Immortal
Blade of the Immortal is a TV series adaptation of Hiroaki Samura's manga, set in the Edo period, an era of samurai and ronin. Rin Asano is the daughter of a famous samurai dojo leader whose family is brutally murdered by the samurai cland i Ittoryu. The young Rin wants revenge and one day she meets Manji, who due to the curse of an old witch is infested with parasites that make him immortal. Manji will be the one to accompany and escort Rin in her revenge.
Psycho-Pass
This animated series is set in 2113, a distant future where advanced technology makes it possible to scan the minds of individuals and define their mental state, inclinations, and personality. This technique is called Psycho-Pass and is used to measure the crime coefficient of each individual. Those who don't pass the test risk arrest or the death penalty. The protagonists of the series are Shinya Kōgami, an Executor who uses the "Psycho-Pass" to fight crime, and Akane Tsunemori, a Police Inspector who has just joined the team.
