Imelda Mary Philomena Bernadette Staunton, classe 1956, è un’attrice britannica, grande artista di teatro e cinema. Ha vinto, per il ruolo in Il segreto di Vera Drake di Mike Leigh, la Coppa Volpi a Venezia e la stessa pellicola le è valsa anche una candidatura agli Oscar. Il pubblico più giovane la ricorderà nel quinto capitolo di Harry Potter: con i capelli cotonati e il vestito rosa confetto ha interpretato Dolores Umbridge.
E’ sta la stessa Staunton ad annunciare la data di uscita della quinta stagione: The Crown 5 arrive a novembre 2022.
