The Galaxy Note 10 won’t have buttons or audio jacks

The Galaxy Note 10 won't have physical buttons but capacitive areas that activate with finger pressure. Here's what the smartphone will look like

The Galaxy Note 10, the next top-of-the-line from Samsung due out at the end of the summer, promises to be a very interesting device. In recent weeks, rumors have intensified about what the phone will look like: Samsung seems to be determined to deeply change the design of the Galaxy Note 10, starting with the rear camera compartment, no longer positioned horizontally but vertically, as it happens on the iPhone X. The choice was forced, since the smartphone will have as many as four rear photo sensors.

The news, however, will not only concern the rear. The screen will not have bezels, but only a hole located at the top center where the front camera will be inserted. But the most interesting news concerns the absence of the keys for power, to adjust the volume and the 3.5mm audio jack. Samsung's goal is to revolutionize a sector, that of mobile, which in recent months has been stuck, with all the smartphones very similar to each other. The Galaxy Note 10 will be the first cell phone not to have physical buttons on the body, they will be replaced by capacitive areas on the screen that are activated at the pressure of the user.

Galaxy Note 10, the characteristics

The technical card of the Galaxy Note 10 is from true top of the range: under the shell we find the processor the Exynos 9820, the same present on the Galaxy S10. To support 8-12GB of RAM and 128-256GB of storage space, expandable via microSD. The screen will have a 6.7-inch diagonal with QuadHD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

Very interesting is the rear camera compartment: four cameras including a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor for depth of field. The main photo sensor will be 48 Megapixels supported by a telephoto lens with x10 zoom and a wide-angle lens with 120-degree field of view. 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging.

Galaxy Note 10, goodbye buttons

The Galaxy Note 10 will not have any physical buttons on the body. Samsung wants to revolutionize the design of the device to make it more compact and resistant to water and povlere. Instead of the power button and to adjust the volume, there will be a capacitive area on the edges of the screen that is activated by finger pressure. In addition, the 3.5mm audio jack will also be eliminated, in order to increase the size of the battery.

When the Galaxy Note 10 comes out

There is still no release date for the Galaxy Note 10, but in recent years Samsung has always presented it near the last weeks of August. It's likely that the unveiling will take place between August 19 and August 31, with a market release in the first week of September, a few days before the 2019 iPhone Xi unveiling.
