Netflix posted an emotional photo of the cast and greeted the fans who participated in the "Resistencia". Here are the details

The filming of the fifth and final season of The House of Paper is over: to announce it Netflix in an emotional post on social media. The news was in the air for a few weeks, especially after the farewell of the series by some of the main actors: from Alvaro Morte to Miguel Herrán, respectively the Professor and Rio, one of the members of the gang.

Now fans are waiting for the announcement about the release of the new episodes. Netflix made the announcement of the end of filming through a post on social networks. The streaming platform has posted on Instagram a photo of the main cast, not just a "gang" but a real family that has achieved an important milestone. There was no shortage of sincere thanks to fans for being part of La Resistencia. The series, created by Alex Pina, had been adopted by Netflix and brought to worldwide success. Now all that remains is to find out what the finale will be.

The House of Paper 5: Netflix's message

Netflix posted the message for fans on different social channels: from Twitter to Instagram. The post is concise but full of meaning:

"It was a gang and today it has become a family. La Resistencia is all of us and we can't wait to find out how it all turns out."

In the image appears the gang as we will know them in the fifth and final season. It is a photo taken from the set where all the actors are wearing the iconic red jumpsuit and laughing with each other.

In the last season will make his debut actor Miguel Ángel Silvestre, already known for working in Sense 8, but also Patrick Criado (La Gran Familia Española).

In the cast we find again Úrsula Coberó (Tokyo), Álvaro Morte (The Professor), Itziar Ituño (Lisbon), Miguel Herrán (Rio), Jaime Lorente (Denver), Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Esther Acebo (Stockholm), Darko Peric (Helsinki), Hovik Keuchkerian, Enrique Arce (Arturo), Najwa Nimri and José Manuel Poga.

In the last few hours, Úrsula Coberó aka Tokyo also said goodbye to her character. The post portrays her together with Alvaro Morte:

"The end has come. What a journey. I will miss my boys so much. Thank you for all your love and support, I hope we made the last season you all deserve."

When The Paper House 5 comes out

The fifth and final season of the TV series is among the most anticipated of the year, especially since it has been postponed several times due to the Coronavirus. Filming began in August 2020 between Denmark, Spain and Portugal. Initially, it was rumored that the series would be released on April 7, 2021, but Netflix did not add the new season to the schedule. Now official news is finally coming from the platform: filming is over and we should see The Paper House 5 by the end of 2021 or, at the latest, in early 2022.
