As every month AnTuTu has published the ranking of the fastest Android smartphones and, as every year, the one that comes out in December is related to the devices tested in November and is the reference point for smartphones to buy for Christmas.
These smartphones are the fastest because they are equipped with the best hardware, especially in terms of SoC (System on Chip, the processor that incorporates CPU and GPU) and amount and technology of RAM (with the fastest ones all equipped with DDR5 RAM). Since these are top of the range smartphones, therefore, there are no cheap smartphones in this ranking: prices are well over 500 euros and the first ones in the ranking are well over a thousand euros. On the other hand, such a high price corresponds to the best technology currently available in terms of cameras, battery and charging speed. Here are the 10 best performing Android smartphones according to the ranking of AnTuTu.
1) Huawei Mate 40 Pro (8+256)
The new top of the range of Huawei, equipped with 5 nm Kirin 9000 SoC, takes back the head of the ranking of the most powerful smartphones according to AnTuTu with a total score of 661,059 points.
The tested version is the one with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. Among the merits of this smartphone, in addition to power, there is a top-notch photo compartment 50 Mp + 20 Mp + 12 Mp (in addition to the front 13 MP). The stabilizer is both optical and digital, while the optical zoom comes to 5X.

The Vivo iQoo Neo3, in 6/128 GB version, ranks fourth fastest Android smartphone according to AnTuTu. It is based on Qualcomm's regular Snapdragon 865 and has a 6.57-inch screen at 144 Hz, with FHD+ resolution of 2,408×1,080 pixels.
The rear cameras are three: 48 MP main, 8 MP wide-angle and 2 MP macro. The front camera, on the other hand, is 16 MP. The battery is 4,500 mAh, with fast charging up to 44 Watts. Not the top, but still very fast.
Unfortunately, Vivo's iQoo range is not officially marketed in Italy, but you can find parallel imports on various online stores (but the warranty may not be valid in our country).
5) Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G (12+256)
In fifth place in the AnTuTu ranking of the fastest Android smartphones is the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G with 12/256 GB of memory. But the real reason to buy this smartphone is the presence of the S Pen stylus, which allows a completely different user experience.
Not lacking, however, is an excellent photo compartment with 108 MP + 12 MP sensors, with optical stabilizer and the ability to record videos up to 8K resolution with 24 fps. Excellent also the screen, curved 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X with QHD+ resolution of 3,088×1,440 pixels.

6) Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G (12+256)
In sixth place of the fastest smartphones according to AnTuTu there is another Samsung and, once again, its strong point is not speed: it is the foldable Galaxy Z Fold2 5G with 7.5-inch screen that folds like a booklet, with resolution 2.208×1,768 pixels (QXGA+) + 2,260×816 pixels (HD+) and the usual excellent Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology.
More modest, in this case, the photo compartment: 12 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP, with a 10 MP front sensor. This smartphone is to be evaluated in a completely different way from the others, being a foldable that still suffers from technological limitations intrinsic to this new type of device. But the fact that it's still in the top ten for power and speed at least partially justifies the very high price.

7) OnePlus 8 Pro (12+256)
In addition to being among the most popular Android smartphones of 2020, the OnePlus 8 Pro is also among the fastest as evidenced by the seventh place in the ranking. Then again, it is still equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, albeit in non-Plus version, and 12 GB of DDR5 RAM.
The AMOLED screen is also good, with 120 Hz refresh rate and 6.78 inches in size and resolution of 3,168×1,440 pixels. There are four rear cameras: main camera with 48 MP optical stabilizer, telephoto lens with 8 MP optical stabilizer, 120-degree wide-angle lens and 48 MP and, finally, the very original 5 MP color filter sensor. The front sensor, on the other hand, is 16 MP.

8) Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G (8+128)
The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G is another blockbuster among 2020 top-of-the-line phones and ranks eighth on AnTuTu's fastest Android phone list thanks to the usual Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.
Good the screen, 6.67 inches with FHD+ 2,400×1,080 pixels resolution and 144 Hz refresh, excellent the 108 MP + 13 MP + 5 MP rear camera compartment (main, wide angle and macro). The front camera for selfies, however, is 20 MP.
Very good battery: 5,000 mAh, with 33 Watt charging (but no wireless charging).

9) OnePlus 8T (8+128)
The OnePlus 8T is the model in the OnePlus smartphone range just below the 8 Pro already described and is confirmed as an excellent smartphone in relation to the price. It has a 6.55-inch, 2,400×1,080-pixel, AMOLED-type display with 120 Hz refresh rate and the ever-present Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, flanked by 8 GB of DDR4 RAM.
The photo compartment consists of a 48 MP Sony main sensor with optical stabilizer, a 123-degree wide-angle and 16 MP, a 5 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP monochrome sensor. The front camera is based on a 16 MP Sony sensor with electronic stabilizer.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 in 8/128 GB configuration closes AnTuTu's ranking of November's fastest Android smartphones and is, not surprisingly, based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.
It has a 6.67-inch screen and 2,400,1,080 pixels, with AMOLED technology, and three rear cameras: 64 Mp + 13 Mp + 5 M (front 20 MP). Good battery, from 4,720 mAh.
