Konami approached eFootball Pes 2022 with the ambitious goal of establishing a benchmark for "virtual" soccer. "We were determined to recreate the ultimate soccer experience, from the grass on the field to the movements of the players and the stadium audience," say the developers of eFootball Pes 2022. "To achieve this revolutionary goal, we designed a new game engine, with a revised animation system and improved controls. The end result impressed us even more than we thought," they write.
