Nokia has launched its new and affordable Nokia 2.4: curved display, 3 GB of RAM, Android 10 and adaptive battery at an affordable price

Nokia 2.4 is the super low-cost smartphone just launched by HMD Global at an affordable price. For those who want an unpretentious phone, Nokia's new smartphone still has 3GB of RAM and supports Android 10, guaranteeing 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates.

The smartphone is the successor to the Nokia 2.3 and confirms the company's line to return to establish itself in the low to mid-range budget segment of the market. For months there has been talk of the launch of five new low-cost smartphones for Nokia, including two with support for 5G connectivity. Nokia 2.4 has thus arrived on the market and can count on a curved display with HD+ resolution, fingerprint sensor on the back and a dedicated button for the Google Assistant, as well as a 4500 mAh battery that guarantees a good autonomy at a price below 120 euros.

Nokia 2.4: features

The Nokia 2.4 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22 12 nm SoC processor with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage expandable up to 512 GB with microSD. The 2.5D curved screen is 6.5 inches with HD+ resolution. The operating system is Android 10, upgradable up to Android 12 and with 3 years of guaranteed security updates.

As for the camera compartment, on the back is a dual-sensor setup with the main one being a 13-megapixel, the secondary one being a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash, for shots with night and portrait modes as well.

The front camera, which also supports Face Unkock, is a 5-megapixel. Also on the back is a fingerprint sensor. Also present is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and FM radio, while the battery is 4500 mAh. An artificial intelligence algorithm prioritizes the apps that are used the most, while pausing the non-essential ones, and this according to Nokia allows the battery of the 2.4 to last up to two days.
