The Ticket Lottery has been postponed and there is still time to open a PEC box and communicate it: here's why having it is convenient.
Having a PEC can make the difference for a user when the Ticket Lottery starts. In fact, those who have a certified email box will be able to use it to be contacted quickly in case of winning one of the draws, rather than waiting for the time of a registered letter A/R.
Usersers who do not have a PEC will be able to take advantage of the postponement of the start of the Lottery of receipts to open one. The initiative of the Italian government, which is part of the Cashless Italy Plan to fight tax evasion, has in fact been postponed to a date to be determined and has undergone changes: to participate, it is no longer allowed to pay in cash, but only with payment cards. The reason for the postponement is the delay of merchants in equipping themselves with the necessary hardware and software solutions to communicate the purchaser's lottery code to the Monopolies Agency, which will handle the management of the Lottery and the draws.
The Lottery of receipts, what it is and how it works
The Lottery of receipts aims to push digital payments in Italy through the drawing of prizes to be dedicated to consumers and merchants. Each user will be able to equip himself with a lottery code, matched to his tax code, which will allow him to generate lottery tickets when issuing receipts.
Nella legge di bilancio 2021 e nel decreto Milleproroghe approvati a dicembre 2020 sono state apportate modifiche alla Lotteria degli scontrini, rinviando a data da destinarsi l’inizio, che era previsto per il 1° gennaio 2021, ed eliminando i pagamenti in contanti dalle modalità con cui si potranno ottenere biglietti per partecipare alle estrazioni.
Ciò implica la cancellazione delle estrazioni "ordinarie" e dei relativi premi, che venivano elargiti anche per chi pagava in contanti. Restano invece le estrazioni e i premi "zerocontanti", che prevedono premi sia per gli utenti che per gli esercenti.
